Acceleration sensor for tower vibrations of wind turbines

Brüel & Kjær Vibro launches a new sensor technology dedicated to the measurement of tower vibrations of offshore wind turbines. The two-axial accelerometer can easily connected to our wind turbine monitoring hardware. It is an ideal addition to our product and service portfolio for the wind energy market.

With a measuring range of 0 Hz - 1.8 kHz and its high sensitivity of 1000 mV/g the new sensor is ideally suited for measuring low frequency vibrations such as tower vibrations, slowly rotating machines or other measuring tasks in the range of structural vibrations.
